The amount of road marking is projected to increase over 5 per cent a year for the next five years. Well, at least according to forecasts for North America.
We at Line Marking Services Sydney expect it will be even more here in Australia. This is due to all the rain on the east coast, which has meant many markings have been washed away or faded, and means more road markings will need to be done to make our roads safer.
Interestingly, we note that the US forecast cited “some of the major factors contributing to the growth of the North America Traffic Road Marking Coatings Market include:
• Rising incidence of road accidents
• Growth in intelligent street marking systems and machines in North American countries.
The latter points is because down the track we will need great line marking for those self-driving cars. That’s a lot of lines!
